Saqi was a verstile artist, knew many languages and worked in more than 450 films
in his career. He was the brother of Abdul Kareem Balouch, ex-MD of Karachi Television.
At the beginning of his career he became hero of some films like Lakhpati (Nighat
Sultana 1958), Sassi Panoon (Sindhi) with Nighat Sultana 1958 and Bombay wala
(with Nighat Sultana 1961), could not be succeeded as hero but later became a
good villion and character actor. He made film "Papi" in 1968 (Bano, Sitara,
Shakeel and Shaheena) but the film was screened only one day, totally failure.
Saqi produced an another film "Hamlog" in 1970 which had two child artists Jugnu
and Murad in main roles and without any typical pair of hero/heroine.
This film was an average film on box office.

Baloch and he died on December 22, 1986. He married Pashto films top heroine
Yasmin Khan. Saqi introduced two top mail singers Masood Rana and Mujeeb Alam

Sikkedar was an actor and writer - especially
about pre-partition stories - of many films in the 60s and 70s . He performed
as Hindu Baniya (Merchant) in a very special style and Punjabi accent of
Hindus. His first film Jabroo was a hit film and Malangi (1965)
was one of his best film as performer. He wrote stories of many films, Anwara was one of them, which celebrated platinum jubilee in Karachi in 1970. Other
films as actor and writer were Mousiqar,
Nizam, Iman te Farangi and many other films. He wrote some film songs too.
Sikkedar's real name was Raheem Bakhsh Khokhar
and he was born in a village Niaz Baig near Lahore in 1927. He died on
July 3, 2006. |

Wadi-e-Kashmir written by Khowaja Moinuddin, was the first stage play in 1954 and other very famous Stage/TV plays were Mirza Ghalib Bander road per, Lal qilay say lalookhet, and above all Taleem-e-Balghan and Khuda kee basti.
He worked in 20-25 films and some famous films were Banjaran (Neelo Kamal), Aisa bhi hota hay(Zeba Kamal) Lori (Zeba, Mohammed Ali), Perdey main rahney do, Aag and Insaan aur Gadha.
