Masood Pervez
Pakistan legend film director
Masood Pervez was known for his classic movies like Heer Ranjha, Koel, Intezar, Zehr-e-ishq, Jhoomar and Mirza Jatt. He was highly educated (MSC) and was introduced as film hero in Punjabi film Mangti (1942). This film created records and ran for more than one year in Lahore. Film Mangti became the first ever golden jubilee Punjabi film in the sub-continent.
He died on March 8, 2011.
